The Publication Board Assam invites applications for the prestigious Yuva Lekhak Sanman 2025 from young and talented writers of Assam. This award carries a financial incentive of ₹25,000 and aims to encourage creativity, literature, and translation works in the region.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the Yuva Lekhak Sanman 2025:
- Permanent Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam. A valid Proof of Residence/Voter ID must be submitted.
- Language of Work: The book/article must be written in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, or any other ethnic language of Assam.
- Translation Works: Books translated from any Indian language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India into Assamese or other recognized languages of Assam will also be considered.
- Published Articles: Articles published in reputed magazines or newspapers shall be eligible for consideration.
- Age Limit: The applicant’s age must not exceed 40 years as on 1st January 2025. Valid age-proof documents are mandatory.
