IOCL Apprentice Vacancy 2025 – Trade & Discipline Wise
The vacancies are distributed across different trade categories. Candidates must apply according to their qualification.
1. Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)
- Eligibility: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
- Alternative Eligibility: Lateral entry after Class 12 (Science) / ITI into 2nd year of Diploma.
2. Technician Apprentice (Electrical)
- Eligibility: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
3. Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
- Eligibility: Full-time 3-year Diploma in one of the following:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering

4. Trade Apprentice (Assistant – Human Resource)
- Eligibility: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) from a recognized University/Institute.
5. Trade Apprentice (Accountant)
- Eligibility: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized University/Institute.
6. Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice)
- Eligibility: Minimum 12th Pass (Intermediate), below Graduate level.
7. Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)
- Eligibility: Minimum 12th Pass (Intermediate).
- Candidates must also hold a Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator training of less than 1 year issued by NSQF (National Skill Qualifications Framework) or any Central Govt. recognized body.
IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years (as on 31st August 2025)
- Relaxations apply as per Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma, Graduate, B.Com, 12th Pass, or Skill Certificate as per the post applied.

IOCL Apprentice Selection Process 2025
The selection will be based on:
- Written Examination – Objective type test covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, English, and Technical/Trade-specific subjects.
- Document Verification – Candidates must produce original certificates for age, qualification, caste, and domicile.
- Medical Examination – Final appointment subject to fitness standards as per IOCL rules.
